17 prisoners escape from Mbala

Seventeen  prisoners have escaped from Mbala state prison but only one has been captured so far.
Mbala district commissioner, Best Kabulembe has confirmed the development to ZANIS today.
Mr. Kabulembe said the prisoners escaped after they cut the barbed wire fence during a heavy down pool on Saturday.
He said the escapees were among the hard core prisoners and dangerous remaindees facing murder charges.
The district commissioner has cautioned members of the public to be aware of these criminals and report any suspect to relevant authority.
Mr. Kabulembe said the escapees have poised a security risk to members of the public in the district.

its too late they could be in tanzania

      • John Alfonso Nchimbi   April 2, 2013 at 19:24

Here in tanzania we are watchful. We are very keen to re-arrest the criminals should they cross the border. My advice to them: learn Kiswahili very fast. Lugha hiyo itawaokoeni pale Tunduma/Nakonde. Before you cross over be aware that we Tanzanians are all weather friends with Zambians, katika raha na katika taabu.I salute you Zambians.Viva HE Sata, viva Madam Dr Mrs Sata.
