Nevers Mumba laughs at Taima and other rejected traitor

Opposition Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) has described as a noble course the decision by the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) to reject some of the MMD Members of Parliament that ditched the former ruling party join the PF.

The PF has for the July 25 by-elections adopted Peter Ilunga for the Solwezi East at the expense of Richard Taima who held the Parliamentary seat under the MMD before defecting to the ruling PF while Ingrid Mpande has been adopted for Mkushi North on instead  of Mutale Musonda who also was the area MMD MP before defecting to the PF.

MMD president Nevers Mumba noted that the sidelining of some of its rebel MPs should serve as a strong message and lesson for MMD MPs that the honey moon for defecting to the ruling party with the view to having their alleged wrong doing covered has come to end.

Dr. Mumba further notes that any other MMD MP that is planning to resign and defect to the ruling party should now realize that time has come to build on their party and strengthen the country’s democracy.

The MMD president was speaking in an interview with Qfm.

Sata is smarter than we think. Govt is Govt wether Mp or not the entire ship is floating in riches and banquets. Taima may surely go into foreign service or maybe he could even be our first ambassador astronaut to the moon. This is PF we are dealing with……anything can happen.

Ba Nevers Mumba laughing at Taima.(Bakolwe basekana ifipato) Ask Nevers Mumba how many by – elections he has won since ascending to MMD presidency? 1 out of 8. Serenje under Howard Kunda. NEVERS has made more deadly political miscaculations than Taima. Nevers always shows up at the wrong time. He showed up to take up the republican vice presidency at the wrong time. No wonder he was fired by Levy. He took up his diplomatic job in Canada at the wrong time, when MMD govt was getting out of power. He has become MMD president at the wrong time. When MMD is going into political oblivion.

The decision or the punishment meted on the two former MPs might be harsh but that doesn’t mean that Mumba and his minions willmanage to retain the seats. L

President Sata is not known for tricking his loyal benefactors. This story, if true, might just be that the concerned have traded their posts for something they consider better and more stable than being mps!

  18. Simon   June 24, 2013 at 14:13

@Fulwe, don’t be another useful idiot. What is there to be proud of Feira PF win. Its not the true reflection of what people feel as U know as U know all the people have lost trust in our electro system which allows the ruling part to have an due advantage over other political parties. MMD was wining by elections all way through remember and they were fooled as well.

  19. MWANYA AMAFI BA Pathetic fools of all time   June 24, 2013 at 14:07

Matipa u re right .D fool Sata is already embalmed .Good for Taima meaning hes not a factor Taima even Ilunga is not .Next Chingimbu the man has regretted to be used by Masumba. Please resign Chinghimbu and join PF see how Kabompo will teach u a lesson.

  20. Scott   June 24, 2013 at 14:04

I am sure Sata will give this Taima fellow a job – maybe in the foreign service. Remember he loves traitors

The political scene in Zambia is grey and a good percentage of our MPs are frauds. It is not about the country, but the belly. Please next time we vote let us analyse these human beings who purport to represent people. Now the PF is carrying all the political and social misfits in the name of MPs.These humans beings are no better than common criminals, except they are using the MP title to steal and eat from government for doing nothing.God save the country.

  23. Simon   June 24, 2013 at 14:00

Taima will understand the real meaning of useful fool. I think he was used and disposed off in the way we use toilet paper and after using it we don’t even want to touch it or even to look at it after use. He is a good fool though as he has served a lesson to other wud be foolish by election causing foolish MP we are tired of

  24. M.M.   June 24, 2013 at 13:59

I wish it was the position all along. We would not have experienced these many by-elections if these wolves knew the risk of crossing the floor. I hope lessons have been learnt and also hope that this is not a gimmick to hoodwink us citizens to start thinking we have a listening government.

  25. matipa   June 24, 2013 at 13:59

sata has been eating too much zam beef meat that is why he looks embalmed on some photos. yaaba, his skin looks hard like that of an over aged crocodile

  27. FULWE   June 24, 2013 at 13:55

And so this is the only work pastor Mumba can do in MMD, shame! The fact that these two guys were not adopted does not ncessarily mean the end of defections. When one is strong on the ground and he defects, PF will adopt him. I wonder what type of a leader these opposition are, too myopic.
UPND has been taught a lesson in Feira, THUMPED to the core and should stop insulting our Republican President because the more he does the more PF infiltratess his strongholds. Watch this space, next is Choma….

  28. Mwanawachisi Mpongo   June 24, 2013 at 13:49

Its pf are dangling the carrot to opposition mps.Thats why they defect to the ruling part.If you resign from the opposition you be driving govt vehicle free fuel which your could not give you says Sata.

  29. The Eye   June 24, 2013 at 13:46

This shows how foolish most of these MPs from here in northwestern are. Look at the local roads in solwezi where huge sums of monies are being exploited. Look at the Solwezi – chingola road and its state, then compare with other major roads in the country. Taima you have been taught a very good lesson. Whether you may be sent in foreigne mission or not, you have betrayed your own people.

    • kim   June 24, 2013 at 15:48

True. This thing Taima wont sleep today. No libido neither!!

  30. kebyyzimba   June 24, 2013 at 13:45

I think PF is just doing the right thing by rejecting the defectors who are causing unnecessary by elections on the expense of the poor pipo. This country has got a lot of developmental programs which needs immediate attention other than these by election we are seeing every day.

  31. Amen   June 24, 2013 at 13:44

Wel done Ba PF for once in 21 months – the rest is rubbish.

You should do the same to Monde and Siamunene, please Fred M`mbe as a court controller tell you courts to dispose off the two cases so that the pipo of itezhi tezhi and Sinazongwe can have a represantation. these two boys are representing their own bellies as Chibbwalu Munkombwe says…

UPND – You should very careful the way you adopt you candidates, please avoid corruption as the same money you accept on adoption may be coming from corrupt PF to distablise your party – as one of your prospective candidate in itezhi tezhi is already working with PF and is being spotted in dark corners of lusaka industrial area with Siamunene and Munyati.

  32. mweene   June 24, 2013 at 13:43

    Taima in bad timing.

  33. chris moore   June 24, 2013 at 13:43

Hon monde and Hon siachinene that is a writting on the wall for you.The p.f has rolled out a lot of developmental programmes in Zambia today which means that it is not because of an individuals ability but the party like was the case in southern province when pipo voted for the party and not the person.”mwana kwale iya kuuluka bakusiya bayuni nyoko”.Who cant see the programmes in Zambia today?Of course development can not be in every ward, constituency and district at the same time as it goes with resources. You can’t develop the country in a blink of an eye it is gradual process mwana…..Taima mwata sorry,as you can not win the seat as an independent hope the President does not withdraw the position you were given if that happens am sorry that will be the begining of your evening nga tawasungapo………….

Well done pf. No 1 wil blame u now 4 cozing by-elections.

  36. Amen   June 24, 2013 at 13:32

    thats good

  37. Mulenga Chilufya   June 24, 2013 at 13:29

Serves him right! Time for progression of the largesse at the expense of the electorate must come to an end. Ingrid Mpande is understood to be part of the “forest” by virtue of marriage in the first family.

  38. The Analyst   June 24, 2013 at 13:26

Taima is an excellent example of a ‘useful idiot’. He was used to weaken the opposition and now he has been dropped. Good for him!!!

  41. Rusco   June 24, 2013 at 13:05

I have the pleasure to annouce that the PF has yet done a very good thing for all the progressive parties in Zambia. These are good signs that PF is a listening government. Let those whodefect from other parties foot their own bills and shame on them for weakening the multiparty democrancy in this country. If only PF did this earlier own, there would definitely less talk on thes issues about by-elections.

  42. Zulu Banda   June 24, 2013 at 13:04

I wanted very much the PF to reject chi Mangani. What happened Mr. Kabimba? You rightly pointed in December, 2013 that chi Mangani was not a PF member, now why have you adopted him? He needed to be taught a lesson as well.

  43. Mwape Chanda   June 24, 2013 at 12:55

    • wandi   June 24, 2013 at 13:36

Because you are a useful idiot who can’t see his/her comments like this one.

  45. QUESTIONER   June 24, 2013 at 12:50

Shameless Taima and Mutale Musonda. You have been taught an unforgatable lesson. We shall see where you will run to. We also want to test your loyalty to the useless PF party; we want to see whether you will continue shouting praises for the PF as a WORKING GOVERNMENT on roof tops. I am sure reality has already dawned to you that there was nothing in it for you. You were better off respecting the mandate the people gave you at first rather than rubbishing it in preference for your stomachs.

  46. Mapumba fwiiii   June 24, 2013 at 12:45

I like that Richard Taima was rejected. The guy has nothing to offer the people of Solwezi East. He was elected by the people but decided to be for himself.

  47. QUESTIONER   June 24, 2013 at 12:45

If you can be rejected by the PF, the party without principles, then it means you are rotten to the core. This is what Taima and Mutale Musonda are. Shame on you and this will be a good lesson for both of you. We will now see whether you will still stand on the roof top to praise the PF as a WORKING PARTY IN GOVERNMENT. You idiots.

  48. woodman   June 24, 2013 at 12:44

well spoken mr president and shame be onto all the defecting selfish MPS.
