Photo of the day: Commanders salute president Lungu as Guy Scott follows

lunguThis was at the airport just after ailing president Michael Sata left for China and transfered  power to ‘Beer Man. We wonder why the acting president looks so  scared and ready to take off?

In the foreground, ceremonial vice-president Guy Scott follows behind his new boss. Sometimes we really feel sorry this comrade.

Times of Zambia journalists go 2 months without salaries
Munkombwe celebrates appointment, booed

The appointment of eddie az acting president wz based on national security in that az president wen u go out its dengarous 2 leave samone who is power hungry lyk wynter kaimbwa and GBM coz they may remove u 4rm power dats why he had 2 leave a beer man in hiz place!

  15. Bob Sichinga   April 6, 2013 at 11:22

Was Aka fired? He was the only non Bemba person heading a parastatal in PF AND actually announced his resignation soon after the PF took over from MMD, knowing very well that he did not qualify on tribal lines to serve under PF. It is even a surprise that SATA pleaded for him to hang around as he could not find similar brains in muchinga to run TAZARA, in fact there has never been such brains since indepence

his demeanor does not look presidential but then, neither is Sata’s or Scott’s or GBM’s or Wynter’s. how ironic!

      What about Paul Kagame?

      • evil eye   April 6, 2013 at 12:47

Paul Kagame is suave. Just check out the photo where he is receiving credentials from Judith Kapijimpanga. Therein lies the difference.
