The Task Force on Corruption Wednesday interrogated suspended MMD member Kelvin Sampa over MMD funding.
Two days ago, Sampa was quoted by the media saying that the PF government should give amnesty to individuals who have information of the alleged theft of public funds by the MMD government.
Sampa, who used to run a NGO called National Initiative for Civic Awareness (NICA) was questioned in connection with MMD funding and some purchase of vans.
On April 6, 2011, Sampa was disqualified from standing as MMD youth chairman at the party convention.
He was further suspended from the party on allegations of bouncing a cheque of K12 million which was supposed to be a donation to the MMD and soliciting funding from a donors using the party’s name.
During the last campaigns, Sampa was driving a Merc Dec Benz with registration number “RB 2011’.
Sampa defected to the PF last month during the parliamentary bye-election in Chongwe.
