More than 240 students fail law exams

Out of 323 lawyers who sat for the legal practitioners certification exams at the Zambia institute for Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE), 248 failed leaving only 75 to be admitted to the bar.

And speaking during the admission, Chief Justice Ireen Mambilima called on the newly admitted lawyers to be professional so as to uphold the legal profession, which she said was the most respected in the country.

ZIALE has of late been rocked with poor results and at one time the examinations were nullified after it was discovered that some exam papers had leaked.
