Police continue beating UNZA students, burn one hostel

Riots at UNZA have continued with police and students engaged in heavy fighting.
One hostel for female students has been burnt while police are forcibly entering and beating students from their rooms.
Police have broken the doors to ‘Vet’ hostels DG07, and assaulted some students and carried them to the police vehicle.
The police are throwing teargas canister in rooms where student have locked themselves for safety.
In the photo, Soweto hostel burns. Female students were forced to jump through windows as police started a fire in the building.
Students are rioting over their unpaid meal allowances.
