Photo of the day: UPND mediocrity

20160109_074915 20160109_074921 20160109_075005This is the tap that supplies water to the whole, main market in Siavonga. The drainage system is in a deplorable condition, yet the local authorities collect market levies every month-end.

We understand the council here is controlled by UPND, and the MP is also from UPND. Is this the type of mediocrity the UPND plans to extend to the whole country if elected in August? How come there is no difference, in terms of dirty and disorganisation between this market and markets whose councils are controlled by PF cankerworms? Yes, we understand the budget is controlled by the PF and the administration at the council is appointed by the PF, but the fact that the policy is designed by UPND and the UPND has supervisory powers makes them ultimately responsible. This is repugnant and vile. The UPND should show us that they are better managers than PF . If you can’t properly manage a small town like Siavonga, can you manage the entire country? Nincompoops.
