ABZ now demands Kabimba’s removal, engaging LAZ

Agenda for a Better Zambia (ABZ) president Father Frank Bwalya says his party will engage the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) over the unprofessional conduct of their member, justice minister Wynter Kabimba following the supreme court’s discharge of Nevers Mumba in contempt charges.
In a media statement Father Bwalya has also called on Zambians to demand for the removal of Kabimba, accusing him of putting the integrity of the judiciary into suspicion that the judiciary was being used by the ruling PF.
Kabimba wrote a letter to the PF lawyer Banventure Mutale of Ellis and company to which he attached a copy of legal opinion of Solicitor General Musa Mwenye regarding the disqualification of MMD parliamentarians whose seats were disqualified. The letter was also copied to ailing dictator Michael Sata and his niece, Acting chief justice Lombe Chibesakunda.
The ABZ leader has hailed the landmark judgment which he says has raised issues regarding the separation of powers and the democratic dispensation between the ruling party and the government.
Sata and the PF have in their two years of being in power wrecklessly abused the judiciary which has seen the nullification of seats held by the opposition to enable the creation of a one party state.
