Zambia’ s new ambassador t Nigeria Alex Luhila yesterday presented his letter of credence to the Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan.
The Nigerian Vice president appreciated the cordial relationship between Nigeria and Zambia and emphasised the need to strengthen it for mutual understanding and benefits.
Luhila presented his credential to Nigeria together with three other envoys of Norway, Hungary and Canada.
Jonathan thanked the four envoys for their concern over the health of President Umaru Yar’Adua and assured them that the president would soon be back in the country.
Luhila is a former deputy minister of Agriculture and provincial minister for Western province.
Before being posted to Nigeria, Luhila was deputy ambassador in France.
