Businessman Dipak Patel has donated K12, 400 to meet the required bill for Annet Nankamba to travel to Lusaka and meet doctors to treat the massive tumour on her face.
Annet Nankamba is a cancer patient based in rural Mbala. She has been struggling with the massive tumour for many years now. Doctors in Mbala referred her for specialist treatment many years ago but she has had not money but the cancer has been growing.

Professor Gerry Nkombo Muuka, an Associate Dean and Coordinator of Graduate Programs at Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at Murray State University in USA sent $100 after the appeal was published on the Watchdog.
Other people donated various sums amounting to K1000. One person donated K900 but wishes to remain anonymous. The balance was therefore K12, 400 which, Dipak Patel has now donated. Patel is the campaign manager for UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema. Annet needed K15, 000 to travel to Lusaka to meet doctors.
The doctors in Lusaka will assess Annet’s condition and determine what it will cost to treat her. At that time, she will certainly require more assistance.
For now, the Zambian Watchdog wishes to thank all who responded to the appeal, may God bless you and double blessings for Dipak Patel.
