Appointment of Mukwita: Zukas resigns from Daily Mail in protest

Veteran politician Simon Zukas has resigned from the Daily Mail Board of Directors in protest.

Zukas is unhappy with the way Emmanuel Mwamba is interfering with the operations of the newspaper and especially the imposition of Antony Mukwita as Managing director.

Simon Zukas said he resigned because he is not happy that Mukwita was imposed as managing director without the vacancy being advertised for other qualified journalists to apply.

Emmanuel Mwamba, the overzealous new permanent Swcretary for the ministry of Information appointed his friend Antony Mukwita, a ploy boy, to head the Daily Mail after shunting Isaac Chipampe at the ministry.
