Armed bandits snatch K450,000 from Kabwe trader

Armed men wearing head socks and KCM work suits yesterday stole in excess of K450,000 from Kabwe’s BY Enterprises located about 400 metres from Central police and Central division command, and less than 200 metres from Town centre police post.

The dramatic robbery was staged between 16:00 and 17:00 hrs for sales from last week and yesterday’s by the four men who were armed with the military weapon AK 47 rifle and driving in a white Toyota Corolla ACM 3125.

The bandits held the Zambian of Asian origin owner Bhakash Desai, workers and the customers hostage in a robbery that took about ten minutes before majestically walking out with a sack containing money.
