Independence avenue (Lusaka ) K300,000 stolen at gun point
What the police needed was the reintroduction of the small helicopters since robbery is now becoming sophisticated, in addition they needed to have more vehicles on the road, not those Kampyongo war machines. that was money spent without thinking how do you invest so much on riot fighting equipment when Zambia experiences such incidents once in a blue moon.
No matter the fact this was a planned inside job cause take a look at the video close, why was the money in the front seats instead of been in the trunk. C5 DO SOMETHING THIS IS GETTING WORSE.
It is an organized inside robbery in which the driver is involved. Who did the criminals know that the vehicle which was coming along their way had money? The robbery is similar with the one staged recently at Lewanika Mall in Woodlands.
The driver is the main man in this game it’s not a robbery even it was an official hand over.If it was a robbery could these guys have let him walk free like that ? Awe the driver has some explanation to make let C5 clap him azakamba
Its difficult to conclude that it was inside job. That is the job of the police to determine during the course of their investigations. From the video footage the robbers meant business and had done their home work. This is the reason we say the police need to be equipped with a fleet of reliable and fast vehicles to tackle such incidences not those riot vehicles which are just gathering dust. Last time we were made to understand that the police wound reintroduce the air wing. What has happened to date? In these hard times there are going to high rates of robberies and this calls for the police to allocated a bigger chunk of the budget to buy more vehicles and other basic equipment to efficiently police the country. There are no wars and no need to buy sophisticated military hardware. The police is the first line of defense and very certain that within 48hrs these bad guys ill be brought to book. The Zambia police service has competent men and women to catch the robbers. The police only fail to act professionally when it comes to dealing cases hinging on politics, there its 10/100%
Got to be joking. “Zambia police service has competent men and women to catch the robbers” Really are we talking about the same corrupt police. The same police that abuse vehicles to conduct their personal business??? The same police that standby and do nothing when someone is being murdered right before their eyes. Maybe there’s hope for police reform under a new leadership. Until then Zambia has a bunch of incompetent Police.
@Robins… Are 300% RIGHT that’s a planned move by the Driver. He be in soup soon….he is like acting in a MOVIE…
This is Zambia under Kanganja and Pf.Its just the beginning bane…
this is a planned robbery. Start quetioning the driver of the Nissan van, which criminal would turn there back on the people they are robbying. Unless they know each other. This is an inside job
How come that CCTV building which Kampyongo opened did not see this robery & alert the police to chase the robbers? That building could have been opened to be used for election rigging. UPND & other parties should have an eye on what is going on in that building.
