Arsenal are positioning themselves to sign Chelsea’s Charles Musonda with the star likely to quit Stamford Bridge, according to reports.
The 19 year old Musonda is one of Chelsea’s biggest talents, but the path from the Blues’ academy to the first-team squad is a difficult one to follow.
And the Daily Mirror says Musonda’s lack of senior minutes has alerted clubs, including Arsenal who were keen on signing the player in the summer.
The paper says the Gunners are waiting in the wings to sign the £10million-rated star, who is also a target for French club Monaco.
Charles Musonda Jr is former Zambian international midfielder Charles Musonda’s son. Musonda senior was one of the best midfielders on the African continent in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
