The New Revolution Party (NRP) has given an ultimatum to the office of the Auditor General to release an audited report informing the nation how much the Task force used in pursuing corruption cases.
NRP President, Cosmo Mumba said a lot of money was spent and Zambians who sanctioned the probe of the alleged plunderers must be made aware of the outcome.
Mumba said the task force wasted tax payer’s money and it is suprising to realise that it was established to target individuals like the former president Frederic Chiluba.
He said if the Auditor General’s office fails to avail the nation with the report the party would challenge the office to prove its relevance.
Mumba further said the party would petition to the chief justice so that corruption cases are pursued by the Zambia Police (ZP) and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
