Bemba traditionalists angered by premature annoucement of Chitimukulu’s death

Bemba traditionalists are angered with the premature announcement of the death of their traditional leader, Paramount Chief Chitimukulu Mwine Lubemba of the Bemba speaking people.

Allies close to the Mwine Lubemba told the Zambianwatchdog that the entire kingdom was speechless with the lucky of respect for the Bemba tradition as this was the first time in the history of the Bemba Kingdom that protocol was broken.

“Maybe it is because Ba Chilufya te babemba that is why he allowed the unfortunate situation where a private newspaper announced the passing on of the paramount chief and he (Mr. Sata) even sent a message of condolences.

“I think you know that ba Sata is Bisa as a result if he was a really Bemba, he could not have passed his message of condolences. For us Kulolela (we wait) until senior people announce, and this can even take one year. Even Bwalya Chiti was not supposed to announce but we suspect it is because he has been given a job”

“We know that Sata hates ababemba nkonko like Nevers Mumba who was recently harassed by PF cadres at the instigation of senior government officials in Northern province,” the source said.

Sources close to the Bemba Kingdom said the announcement and burial can even take one year.
