Bishop Chihana dedicates Psalm to Zambians going through trying times

I have dedicated the following psalms to all Zambians in the country going through trying times, politically, financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically and other pains.

I also call on the Christians in Zambia to pray intensively for the continued peace in Zambia, for the government and its leadership. There is travail in the air but with prayer all things are possible with them that believe.

Psalm 84 vs. 5-7

Blessed is the man whose strength is in you. Whose heart is set on the pilgrimage.

As they pass through the valley of baca- (it’s a place of weeping located in Palestine)(the word means weeping with lamentation). They make it a spring; the rain also covers it with pools.

They go from strength to strength; each one appears before god in Zion-

Psalm 83 vs. 1-4

Do not keep silent, o God! Do not hold your peace, and do not be still, o God!

For behold your enemies make tumult – (a disturbing noise coupled with some violence sometimes),

Those who hate you have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against your people,

And consulted together against the sheltered ones.

They have said, come and let us cut them off from being a nation. That the name of Israel be no more.

Psalm 92 vs. 5-7

O Lord, how great are your works! Your thoughts are very deep.

A senseless man does not know, nor does a fool understand this,

When the wicked spring up like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish.

It is that they may be destroyed forever.

Psalm 126 vs. 5-6

Those who saw in tears shall reap in joy.

He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing

Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him

Psalm 133 vs.

Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious oil upon the head.

Running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron (he was the high priest of Jehovah).

Running down the edge of his garment (his priestly robe.

It is like the dew of Hermon (a mountain overlooking Lebanon, when the freezing night has passes and the slowly the sun begins to show and icily mountain begin to have the dew go down the mountain and the people would enjoy the cool fresh water at the bottom).

Descending upon the mountains of Zion (a place of God where he rules from)

For there he commanded the blessing even life forevermore.

All Christians in Zambia stay united and keep praying. The lord shall help Zambia.
