Bread price on Copperbelt increased by more than K500

lack of Bread and Nshima in Zambia can lead to riots

The price of bread on the Copperbelt province has been increased by more than five hundred Kwacha (k500).

PF Government controlled ZNBC reported at 07 hours main news on Wednesday that the cheapest loaf of bread is now six thousand Kwacha (K6000).

ZNBC said it reporters went round retail shops in Kitwe, Luashya and Ndola and discovered the price has been increased everywhere.

ZNBC reported that just last week, bread was around five thousand Kwacha (K5000)
