Building roads when people have no food is not development, says Kanyama PF MP

Patriotic Front Kanyama  member of Parliament  Jerry Chanda says building roads in Zambia now when people have no food is not development. Speaking on 5FM morning news today, colonel  Chanda said ensuring that citizens have descent meals a day is what he would call development not building roads.

He said it is imperative that the Zambian people  are empowered with food. Colonel Chanda wondered how building of roads would profit citizens when many are  finding it difficult to feed their families. The lawmaker has however boasted that Kanyama constituency is now one in terms of development and it will be ridiculous for people of kanyama to start complaining about development because most of the industries in Lusaka are within kanyama constituency.
