Bumpy road almost ending – HH

President Hakainde Hichilema writes:

Fellow citizens,

As we wrap up our attendance of the Mining Indaba here in Cape Town, South Africa, this late afternoon we took time to visit the stands from the Zambian side that are here to showcase some of the best trade and business opportunities that exist in our country.

This is part of the marketing strategy we have because if we are to raise funds, bring technical know-how or indeed increase the much needed revenue, we have to do everything we can including following these opportunities. We have to leverage our natural resources to secure the livelihoods of people and bring prosperity for all.

We have no doubt in our mind that Zambia will triumph despite the bumpy road.

Our goal is to make you citizens proud that you are indeed from a blessed country and not walking with your head down in other countries when you seek joint ventures. This is why we have done away with dangerous behaviour of violence, disorder, stamping out corruption at all costs because these vices chase away the good name that Zambia earned including the much needed investment which should lead to jobs and business opportunities for all.

Fellow Zambians,
We are all vessels of change that our Creator, God Almighty so much desire for each one of us.

God bless our country.

Hakainde Hichilema
President of the Republic of Zambia.
