Bus carrying Zambian athletes from Botswana breaks down in L/stone, saved by samaritan

A bus that took the athletes to Botswana for the athletics championships has broken down in Livingstone.

Sources said due to lack of funds to fly the team, the Zambian government through the ministry of sports that is as good as being called Ministry of Soccer because of its concentration on football, decided to put the athletes in wreck of the bus that kept breaking down all the way.

A good samaritan in Livingstone had to pay for the team this morning and put the athletes on a public transport bus to Lusaka.

Last week, Zambia’s Tennis ace Edgar Kazembe had to travel without his coach by public transport to Kenya where he was expected to defend his tittle but lost in the semi-finals in what he attributed to poor travel arrangements due to lack of financial support from government.

Meanwhile, all Sata’s ministers, and his wife Dr. Kaseba are busy loitering around the country and other parts of the world getting lost but making allowances trying to cheat Zambians about the importance of removing subsidies.
