Margaret Mwanakatwe was even a better minister of Finance than this Bwalya Ng’andu, just look at the exchange rates , says PF supporter
Hold your fire you good for nothing arm chair critics!
What are the factors that propel an economy in the upward spiral?
Can an economy improve like a magic wand adakadabra?
How is the country performing in terms of production? Mining or agriculture? How much are we earning from exports? What are we exporting? How is the manufacturing industry performing? How is the services side of the economy performing? You easily jump on the throat of Mr Bwalya and say all this crap because you have not the slightest clue as to what it takes for a country to have a sound economy. Austerity measures are just control measures on expenditure. So if the inflow side is already weak how do you hope the minister should make more money? lets just all accept that we all need to play a part in the growing of our economy by being productive not consumptive. Are you growing your own maize? Vegetables? cattle or goats or chickens?
Next time before you open your mouth engage the brain and put on your thinking caps. Mr Bwalya am with you 700%!
Stick to theology.
True be told, it is reckless debt and vanity projects that have stressed the economy not lack of production. This is according to local economists like Professor Saasa plus organisations like the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research, IMF, World Bank as well as credit rating agencies like Moody’s.
It was relatively under Rupiah Bwezani Banda.
Edgar “King Ahab” Lungu isn’t interested in making tough calls needed to remedy the situation because he is more obsessed with staying in power at any cost to continue plunder.
This is Bwalya Ngandu’s dilemma and that of his predecessors plus their difficulties in getting an IMF bailout.
How do you expect the finance minister to perform when the entire system is rotten? The president told the nation that austerity measures don’t apply to him but us ordinary Zambians. The minister has no capacity to execute his duties fairly.
It’s unfortunately thay Bwalya Ngandu come very late to do his work. He found every thing was not well. if it was me l would resign before my cv is messed up.
This woman is talking crap.
No to say Bwalya Ngandu has failed is very unfair, and to compare him to the one who wanted to mitigate the failed economy using Mukulu is grossly unfair, Mr Ngandu is not the problem, the problem is the system under which he is operating which does not allow him to discharge his duties professionally period, any one can fail under the PF system.
You are absolutely right. He was given an impossible task, given it after the entire PF leadership ruined the economy and expected to perform miracles. How???
