The Itezhi tezhi chiefs complained that their area has been neglected in terms of development. The chiefs bemoaned the lack of access roads to their palaces, complained that the whole region has only one dilapidated secondary, school and that clinics are too few and inadequate for thepopulation. The chiefs said they wish to have an MP they can work with to initiative the type of development they want instead of people who just impose projects unsuitable to the people and without consulting them.
