CBU student declare today ‘Black Monday’ as PF continues failing to run universities

ATTENTION! 0FFICE OF THE PUBLICITY SECRETARY T0: THE STUDENTS POPULACE DATE: 28th JUNE,2015 SUBJECT: TOMORROWS BLACK MONDAY

cbuReference is made to the above subject, By virtue of the powers entrusted in us to make decisions on your behalf, Cobusu Executive and the Students council of Representative has Declared tomorrow Monday the 29th june 2015 as BLACK MONDAY in Protest for Government through the Ministry of Education which is the appointing authority to intervene and pass a Verdict that will see the start of classes with immediate effect in the fracas between the VC and the Academic Union for lecturers. The academic Union we meet with the councilors tomorrow in the morning so that we can hear their side of the story and make an informed decision as your leaders. Black monday will begin at 10:00hrs and every student is mandated to be in black clothes subject to the Monk police through the chief commander under the office of the Vice President.

We have attended a lot of meetings and all we have seen is total comedy and we are now tired and we need classes to resume. For the sake of information, the minister had intervened by asking the Academic Union and the VC to dialogue via the University Council but lecturers have refused that they would not take anything that will be resolved by the University council because they feel this Council is controlled by the VC and his Team, hence the reason for us students who are the major stake holders being affected by this Nonsense to stand-up, unite and communicate via our usual means and Compel government to act and stop playing cheap politics on this matter.

At student service, Moses Pankalamu Simfukwe.
