CBU students to miss exams

Screen Shot 2015-01-10 at 21.42.04Hundreds of Students at Copperbelt University (CBU) are likely to miss this semester’s exams for failing to pay tuition fees.
The exams will start on Monday buy by Saturday January 10, 2015, CBU management had refused to let affected students sit for exams.
And the Watchdog has been reliably informed that students plan to
burn the academic office building following the impasse.
Other students are said to be planning to boycott the exams in solidarity with the colleagues.
‘Some of these students are children of farmers who were not paid by FRA,’ said one student.
The PF has not money to pay farmers, bursaries but they have money to feed and ferry cadres from all the country to attend rallies in Kafue and Chongwe.
