Changala says arresting HH is shameful and will backfire

By Bredgner Changala

African politics can be shameful many a time. Now that Hakainde Hichilema (HH) has been baptized and ordained the African way,one can safely say his road to State House is now very clear thanks be to police command and the minister of Home Affairs.
Africa (Zambia)Twasebana.
It’s very shameful to be governed by people lacking  self confidence and belief that they won the August elections. How else do one get unsettled by mere refusal by a loser that I don’t recognize your presidency?  If you indeed won,you won,but allow others to enjoy the luxury of their dreams. Don’t disturb them for God’ sake.
Zambia is not a police state for all the political problems to be resolved through use of force by the armed police.
This will back fire sooner than later.
This country is divided and arresting political opponents is a miscalculation by those welding power today. Zambia is a democracy constitutionally. Do what is correct for once as a government and the losers of the last elections will follow suit. You don’t get recognized by use of force,no. Strong governments engage in dialogue with their adversaries.
Please keep the police away from politics. They’re just making this government and the country ungovernable.
