Chief Nsoloko shocked that there is no money for palaces in 2013 budget

Senior Chief Nsokolo of the Mambwe people of Mbala in Northern province is seeking clarification over the planned rehabilitation and construction of Chiefs’ Palaces, as the 2013 budget is silent on the matter.

The traditional leader said in a statement that money intended for upgrading and construction of the chiefs’ palaces should be availed soon in all identified chiefdoms as 99 percent of palaces were in a deplorable state.

He said the palaces were inhabitable to provide the decency traditional leaders deserve.
