Chikwanda calls for reduction of foreign trips by PF govt officials

Finance Minister Alexander Chikwanda has urged government officials to cut down on foreign trips in order to save government meagre resources.
Speaking Monday morning during the 2016 budget breakfast meeting, Chikwanda said cutting on excessive foreign trips by government officials can help reduce the budget deficit.
President Edgar Lungu is one of the government officials who have been globetrotting at a huge cost to the treasury. Lungu recently chattered a plane at a cost of US$300,000 to New York.
