China Copper Mines Lacks Capacity to run the Mine: their media & jobs loss blackmail is nonsense: Donald Investments is right owner, investigations have revealed.
From the facts gathered on the ground, the so-called China Copper Mine is just a group of bogus Chinese investors who have absolutely no capacity to professionally manage a mining business. A dig into the operations and maneuvers of the group of those Chinese men reveals obvious irregularities in the manner that they have been going about their business. The concerns recently raised by the Zambia Environmental Management Agency are anecdotal of the depth of confusion that surrounds the management of the Chingola mining investment. Staying true to their lack of capacity to manage a mining investment of the kind that they are claiming to own, the mine faced closure at the hands of the Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA).
China Copper Mines Limited has been found to be in the habit of indiscriminately polluting streams and surrounding environment to the detriment of human life which is more important than any other egoistic business objectives. That group has no regard for the Zambian law and that is why even when they are found to be in breach of a serious piece of legislation like the Public Health Act, Yu Wang Ping, the company’s director comes to the defense of his team’s illegality. He does this because he thinks he can always corruptly extricate himself and his team from trouble.
The major issue is lack of capacity to manage the mine which they are crying for. An investigation carried out at the mine always reveals painful findings regarding the safety of those poor Zambians that are under the abuse of the China men. The state of safety standards at the mine can only reflect the extent of corruption that Yu Wang Ping has cultivated to keep their bogus operations afloat. And this is the reason why the Mines Development Department and the Mines Safety Department have raised concerns about the pathetic state of safety standards at the mining facility.
The only skill that Yu Wang Ping and his team possess is that of corruption. This is the reason why he hopes to sustain their illegitimate control of the mine through bribes that they are showering on Mwenya Musenge and other government functionaries. Now Yu Wang Ping even wants to play it fraudulently safe and smart by making appeals to state house even when he knows that only corruption sustains his illegal mining operation of the mine. The biggest threat that should be seen from the mine is not the possible loss of jobs as claimed by Mr. Yu Wang Ping, in truth, the biggest threat happens to be the risk that innocent human beings are being subjected under China Copper Mines as safety is no consideration at all.
The work environment in terms of safety standards is not respectful of the lives of the people who work there. In the end, it does not matter how many corrupt deals Yu Wang Ping tries to strike; the point is that his conscience can never be clear as long as he holds on to that mine. The truth is that corruption was used to grab the mine from the original license holder, Donald Investments Limited, in 2012 by bribing Mines the likes of Copperbelt Minister Mwenya Musenge.
Mr. Yu Wang Ping can try to deny this a hundred times, but it will not change the fact that they had to wickedly grab the mining land from a widow named as Mrs. Jennipher Phiri Mumba who was the rightful owner under property number OB15 and thereby depriving Donald Investments Limited who were the original licence holders. The turns and twists that are being led by Musenge will not change the fact that Donald Investments Limited were legitimate licence holders and corruption led to the current state of affairs. All that nonsense that Mwenya Musenge is running about the Fitula and Mimbula mining dumps, initially belonging to youth cooperatives, and later sold to China Copper Mines is a pure art of corruption and it is not sustainable.
