The Zambia National Soccer team has qualified to the final stage of the 2018 World Cup Africa zone qualifying stage after beating Sudan 2-0 at Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola on Sunday afternoon.
The Chipolopolo have leaped to the final stage via a 3-0 aggregate score line having beaten Sudan 1- 0 in Sudan on 11th November 2015.
George Lwandamina’s side scored through Lubambo Musonda in the 60th minute before Winston Kalengo scored his second goal for Zambia in four days in the 80th minute after a brilliant solo run from outside the box.
Zesco striker Kalengo has now scored 6 goals for Zambia in 10 games.
Zambia will join 20 other teams to be grouped in five groups of four teams each to fight for the five African slots for the 2018 FIFA World cup in Russia.
