Cholera sees opportunity in Lungu’s PF, returns

choleraCholera has resurfaced in Zambia six years after it was eradicated. Cholera has broken out in Kanyama Compound in Lusaka the Ministry of Health has announced.

Acting Ministry of Health Spokesperson Tasila Tembo Pitters revealed that  24 cases had been attended to and nine admissions recorded so far.

Cholera was last recorded in Zambia in the year 2010 under the MMD Government. Ever since no Cholera cases have been recorded till this year under the leadership of President Lungu whose house in Chawama Constituency is just a stone throw away from the Cholera observation Centre.
