Choma MP demands refund from ex-Livingstone MP

The United Party for National Development (UPND) is now claiming its resources from embattled former Livingstone Member of Parliament-MP, Howard Sikwela.

This follows barely a day after Reverend Sikwela ditched the opposition political party and subsequently stepped down as area Member of Parliament.

Party Deputy Spokesperson, Cornelius Mweetwa is demanding his monetary refund, which he contributed during the July 5, 2012 by-elections that saw Reverend Sikwela becoming a legislator.

Mr. Mweetwa is demanding not less than five-million-kwacha-rebased-that he contributed to the party for campaigns.

The Choma Central Member of Parliament said this in an interview with MUVI TV News.

However,Reverend Sikwela could not be reached for a comment as his mobile phones were switched off.

This would be an interesting case if those who donated money to the traitor decide to go to court.
