UPND vice-president Geoffrey Mwamba says people can no longer afford to buy basic necessities.
The PF is boasting that meali meal is now cheap and that the Kwacha is stronger than most currencies.
But after visiting Pick & Pay in Kabulonga to do some shopping, GBM saw for himself how people are failing to buy food and other essentials items due to lack of money.
‘However, it also reminded me of the diminished buying power our citizens are experiencing to purchase the needed food and other groceries,’ GBM wrote on his Facebook.
We are really in trying times.
