Clergyman advises politicians not to take peace for granted

Bishop Paul Mususu has advised political parties in the country not to take peace for granted but strive to maintain harmony for the sake of the people they serve.
In an interview with 5fm, Mususu said politicians practice character assassination and name calling they should be mindful that once peace is lost tit is the common man that will suffer the consequences.
He said politicians should go into this year’s election with open and peaceful minds knowing that all Zambians are equal despite their status.
The clergyman further appealed to political aspirants to promote issued based campaigns and allow the electorate to choose their preferred candidates.
