Clubs blame FIFA on ‘confusion’ in Zambian football

Some Southern Province football clubs have blamed the World Football Governing body FIFA for the confusion surrounding the administration of football in Zambia.

Pemba United Football Club Chairperson, Winstone Sichongwe says FIFA should be blamed for over-trusting FAZ president, Kalusha bwalya despite complaints from the association’s affiliates.

Sichongwe, who is also chairperson for all FAZ affiliates in southern province, has said all eyes are now on FIFA to see which decision will be made after Saturday’s FAZ AGM.

And former Livingstone United Chairperson, Patrick Kasoka has said it was disappointing to see the FIFA official, invited to witness the FAZ AGM, fail to do something or provide guidance amid the confusion, which rocked the AGM.
