As usual: ZWD vindicated, It is Police Officers who murdered ZAF Officer
Three Police Officers Friday appeared in the Lusaka Magistrate Court for killing of a ZAF officer sergeant Mark Choombwa over a minor traffic incidence.
The Police Officers all from Woodlands Police Station appeared before Magistrate Thandose Chabala for manslaughter, instead of murder which they deserve.
The three officers plus a driver will appear again on June 28 2017 for bail application and have been remanded in custody.
Meanwhile sources say Inspector General of Police Kakoma Kanganja is embarrased that media reports suggesting that it was Police Officers who murdered the ZAF officer has come true.
‘He is embarrassed . They tried to accuse innocent inmates but after the Watchdog exposed them then they went for the actuall murderers,’
the source said.
The source further advised the family of the deceased to seek justice by demanding that the four face murder charges.
‘The fact that they wanted to hide and accuse innocent inmates proves that they intended to murder. In countries where people are serious the Lusaka Province Police Commissioner, the IG and Spokesperson could have either been sacked or resign because they defended the Police,’the source said.
The names of the killers are Veronica Shawa, James Ngulube, Lyton Mwale and Mike Kapale
