Constitutional court says Speaker Matibini breached law

The Constitution Court has ruled that Speaker Patrick Matibini breached the Constitution when he declared the Roan Parliamentary seat vacant.
In a February 18 2020 judgement delivered by Court President Hildah Chibomba, the court says the Speaker usurped the powers of the court.
In the usual contradictory rulings, the Court however says it can not reinstate Mr. Kambwili as Member of Parliament because another MP was already elected.
The judgement does also not state whether Mr. Kambwili can claim allowances.
The 43 paged judgement is very contradictory but the only thing clear is that Speaker Matibini over stretched his authority.
