Cosmo Mumba demands VIP seat at Sata’s requiem mass

'I want that seat'

‘I want that seat’

Attention seeking Cosmo Mumba caused a stir at late President Sata’s requiem mass at Heroes Stadium Tuesday morning as he noisily demanded a front row seat among dignitaries.
Mumba who was clad in a red jacket and red bowtie arrived late and kept moving up and down while shouting to protocol officers to give him a seat among the foreign dignitaries and leading political leaders.
After failing to convince the uncompromising protocol officers, Comso Mumba walked away but later pleaded with officers at the gate to find him a seat. One senior government official finally created space for Mumba close to Brigadier- General Godfrey Miyanda and Mike Mulongoti.
This is the same Cosmo, who decided to collapse on the red carpet’ at the airport when president Sata’s body arrived from London a fortnight ago.
