United Party for National Development vice president for administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) has been released on by a court on bail with 2 working sureties and K50,000.00 in default.
The sureties were hon. Gary Nkombo and Mr. Teddy Kasonso. He will appear in court on 10th March 2016.
In the morning, the police working under orders from outgoing president Edgar Lungu refused to free GBM on bond.
Earlier this morning, Mr. Mwamba was officially charged and arrested for unlawful drilling contrary to section 66 (1)(a) as read with section 21 (c) and (d) of the penal code.
