The  Lusaka High Court is today expected to make  a ruling in the case in which the Patriotic Front (PF) is trying to restrain President Banda from contesting this year’s tripartite elections.

Lusaka High Court judge-in-charge Jane Kabuka is expected to make the ruling in closed court today.

Wynter Kabimba, in his capacity as PF secretary general, is trying to restrain President Banda from contesting this year’s elections, arguing that president Banda’ s parents are foreigners.

But president Banda’ s lawyers have not even challenged the question of the parents being foreigners but simply said the case is in a wrong court that has no powers to handle such issues.

But the case is creating entertainment on social media. The photo on the side was posted on Face Book and is circulating very fast with very interesting comments.
