A former girlfriend to musician Wesley Chibambo alias Dandy Crazy has disclosed that the singer suffers from fits also known as ‘ichinkoninkoni’ in Bemba or ‘kashita’ in other Zambian languages, hence his numerous road accidents. The disease is evidenced by instant seizures and people with such a condition are not supposed to drive or operate hazardous machines.

Dandy-KrazyThe girlfriend whose name we have withheld disclosed that during their relationship before Dandy Crazy shot to fame, he had been lapsing into several seizures and was seeing a witchdoctor who has been giving him some medicine because the condition cannot be cured from the hospital as it is more of a genetic problem.

“He used to have seizures and would just all of a sudden collapse and the first time I feared thinking he had died. We were just the two of us and in an intimate set up then he just went cool and dropped, I really panicked until people counselled me that it was ichinkonikoni. He has been seeing a witchdoctor in Bulangililo who gives him some traditional medicine,” she explained.

In 2012, while carrying his wife and only two year old daughter he bashed his unregistered Chrysler  into a Mitsubish Canter truck in Kalomo. This was followed by yet another accident in April 2013 and just yesterday he rammed into a stationary construction truck along Kasama Luwingu road.
