After encouraging cadres to share plots and remove non PF members from markets and bus stations, loose mouthed PF secretary General Davies Mwila has now turned his venom on the civil servants in Kapiri Mposhi by accusing them of working against his PF government.
Addressing PF cadres and Councillors in Kapiri Mposhi today, Mwila and PF central province chairperson Chanda Mutale charged that the civil servants in Kapiri Mposhi were working against government by refusing to execute government projects.
Mutale singled out Kapiri Mposhi district council secretary Millie Muluti as one person who has been frustrating government programmes and that she was unwanted by the councillors.
But an official from the Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union of Zambia – CSAWUZ has defended the workers and called on the PF leadership mot to be cry babies every time they fail to deliver the promises made during the campaigns.
The official who sought anonymity said that the civil servants in the country were working under strenuous conditions and it was unreasonable for leaders in government to keep disrespecting them.
Mwila’s onslaught comes barely a month after President Lungu also blamed civil servants for the failed agriculture in the nation. The PF Secretary general who is using state resources is on a political tour of Central province and campaigning for Lungu’s third term bid.
