Embattled PF secretary general Davis Chama says the people of Sinda do not think for having voted for UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema who is Tonga during the January 2015 Presidential election, instead of Edgar Lungu who hails from Eastern province.
Chama made the remarks in Sinda during his current tour of the Eastern province in search of suitable candidates for the forthcoming by elections in Malambo and Petauke central constituencies but the remarks have angered the people of Sinda who overwhelmingly gave Hichilema remarkable votes over PF’ Lungu.
“We gave you Edgar Lungu who comes from this region but you rejected him and voted Hakainde Hichilema of Southern province, this is not thinking,” said Chama.
And Chama further accused area member of parliament Levy Ngoma of not ably representing them. He also condemned Ngoma’s giving of part of Constituency Development Funds (CDF) money to some women’s clubs but again the remarks attracted murmurs from the crowd while some people started walking away from his meeting at Sinda school.
Chama’s job is under threat as there have been demands for him to vacate the position, recently Estern province youths signed a petition against him.
