According to documentation filed in the criminal registry at the magistrate court in Lusaka, Mr. Lameck Phiri allegedly stole money from Lameck Silwizya of Kabanana Township in Lusaka when Lameck Phiri and other DEC officers went to search Silwizya over drug trafficking allegations.

Mr. Silwizya explained in a Statement of Claim filed by his lawyers Makebi Zulu Advocates that on February 28, 2014 Lameck Phiri together with other persons searched Silwizya and got away with K55, 500.00 but only produced K560.00 in court.

Silwizya has since retained the services of Makebi Zulu Advocates to conduct private prosecution against Lameck Phiri.
