DHL manager suspended for demanding sex from casual worker

DHL Zambia Country Operation Manager Charles Maina has been suspended for demanding sex from a female employee in exchange for promotion.

But when reached for a comment Maima refused to say anything referring all question to the Human Resource department at DHL.

But sources within DHL told the Watchdog that Maima was suspended late last week after he demanded sex from a temporary worker, Maggie Kaunda, in exchange for permanent employment.

Sources say Maggie refused to be laid but instead reported Maima to top management.

‘Regional HR [Human Resource] from South Africa had to be called to deal with the issue. He has been sleeping with female employees using his position, however this time he messed up with a wrong chick,’ said a source.

“You can call HR they will give you the full details’, said Maima when he was phoned.

Maima is originally from Kenya.

It is however not yet known if the matter has been reported to police or is being dealt with administratively only.
