Dirty water and Chawama by-election

With a parliamentary by election pending in Lusaka’s Chawama Constituency, sanitation is cardinal on the agenda of the electorate.Provision of safe and clean drinking water remains far-fetched for some residents of Misisi, one of the compounds in the constituency, as they still depend on shallow wells for the commodity.Whilst some places have been connected with communal taps, the majority still cannot afford due to the cost attached.April 14, 2015 is the date set for a by-election in the area to replace Edgar Lungu who was elected President in the January 20th, 2015 poll.
