Disorganised Lusaka City Council struggles to stop fire

An inferno has swept through the Bible society of Zambia destroying property worth millions.

Surprisingly, officers from the Lusaka City Council Fire bridged arrived at the scene without water to put off the fire hence resulting in excessive damage.

The fire bridgade instead wanted to use the domestic fire extinguisher normally used to small fire in officers.

Last year the ministry of local government claimed that it bought fire tenders worth more than $40 million for the Lusaka city council. There is currently heavy town pour in Lusaka clearly water is not in short supply so what excuses do these PF cadres have for failing to stop the fire?

By press time the cause of the sire was not yet determined but it alleged that it was an electric fault caused after a power cut.

By midday officers from the fire bridged were still fighting to put off the fire.
