When the country is having no control over the so called investors ,the investors will take advantage of the citizens, exploits them, make the citizens poor and even kill them, because you end up bankrupt, there is no company in Zambia you will find 1000 people working with good salaries, apart from the mines which are also not operating well due to the poor leadership,Zambia’s economy will not improve if we continue with shanty way of systems, there is no systems despite having arms like office of the Auditor General, GMT inspectors of every Government Ministries,ZABS, Zambia Consumer protection, now what are these arms doing in Zambia they are finishing the money from taxes chewing nicely without no one held accountable. The question and answer is OLD SCHOOL YOU HAVE FAILED,YOU ARE GREEDY.

The truth of the matter is that it is the value of the Kwacha that has depreciated and in real terms and we have been paying less and less for DSTV. Very often households spend more on DSTV than on electricity.Surely it should be the other way round.

I stopped paying for DSTV last year. The upside of Covid; I have learnt that I can still live without watching soccer. I don’t have to run my subs all in the name of soccer. As for DSTv subscribers, stop complaining- you know what to do. DSTv for me is mediocre at best and appalling at worst.

The price hikes are not justified, let’s move to Netflix for movies and prime TV for news!! Even torrents are cheaper and current that this overpriced and outdated programmed!

DSTV overrated overpriced and over here ripping off Zambians with dumbed down shows repeated every few days whilst forcing clients to pay for and subsidise channels that they do not watch nor listen to. Utter crap service and it seems they have mismanaged their finances.

DSTV is a waste of money! They have no new shows, they are ever repeating their shows, let alone the adverts. The TV channel I enjoyed the most was closed (Investigation Discovery).

Repeated programs at a hiked Bill and under COVID-19 financial constraints, job loses closure of businesses, including big subscribers such as bars and restaurants implies that DSTV will lose a substantial market share. We need competition in this area. DSTV/ multi choice have given us a raw deal for so long. The state needs to intervene and bring in other competitors. Where is the CPCC on this issue? We need to protect consumers.
