Eat cassava if you can’t afford Nshima, says Inonge Wina

ZAMBIANS should adjust to eating cheaper and more nutritious foods as opposed to relying on nshima, Vice-President Inonge Wina has advised.

According to the Zambian Daily Mail, Wina says Zambians should start eating foods such as millet, sweet potatoes, pumpkins and cassava.

    As soon as Zambians start eating these foods the prices will go up due to demand and supply principles. Even as it is today, pupmkins that can feed a whole family for a month will cost more than the cost of mealie meal.

    The Madam Inonge (Looser) meal meal is the cheapest meal.Millet,cassava, pumpkins are by far expensive.This fall under the vegetarian foods.Please consult and get facts before your express your ignorance.
