Electorate urged to choose peaceful leaders

National Restoration Party (NAREP) has urged the electorate not to vote for violent leaders in the country’s forthcoming general elections.

Speaking to 5fm, NAREP National Secretary John Phiri said voters should scrutinize aspiring candidates to ensure they choose leaders who are disciplined and have their interests at heart.

Phiri accused the Government of   creating problems such as poverty and employment, adding that such is the cause of retarded development in the nation.

He appealed to youths in the country not to usher recycled leaders into office but opt for young people with fresh ideas to take the nation to greater heights.
